“Prayers of Sherkin” is a play set in the 1890s about the dwindling of a religous sect which came to Sherkin Island off the south west coast of Ireland from Manchester three generations previously. “Boss Grady’s boys” centres around two brothers in their small hill farm on the Cork/Kerry border.
