Sam – mid 20’s
REVIEW
‘The Model of Man explores the emotions of a man in a simplistic and relatable way. The one man show explores the struggles of body image, personal battles and emotional turmoil of a man. The play seems to invite the audience in to the mindset of the character and sensitively takes you on a journey of Sam’s past all the way to his present self. The play enables the audience to metaphorically hold his hand on his discovery to acceptance. I can’t wait to one day see this play performed live!’ – Alfie Murray
.Another gorgeous monologue by Smith. An impactful and poignant tale of discovering one’s self, of losing one’s self, and of rediscovering one’s self. Rinse, repeat until you get it right. A tale of survival as told by a model turned role model. Wonderfully devised.’ – Craig Houk on New Play Exchange
